Here is a video surprise from her class! So cool!
I am adding to this post today, February 5, because we have had a number of storms come through in the last couple days and next week isn't looking good either. Monday, February 3 it snowed all day and we ended up with about 6 inches or so. Today it started snowing around 4am and it added another 6 inches. Around mid-morning the sleet, freezing rain and rain began, leaving a nice layer of ice on top of the snow. Here are pictures from Mrs. Lussier's neighborhood.
Mrs. Durkin and Mrs. Kilroy's classes will be exchanging bookmarks with Ms. Kornbluth's class in the United Arab Emirates. We hope to connect with them soon!
We are thrilled this year to participate in a Bookmark Exchange with 4 fourth grade classes from the United Arab Emirates and 1 kindergarten class from Ontario, Canada. The idea is simple: students create bookmarks sharing favorite books and we send them off! Thank you to Susan Hughes for getting us connected.
I would love to do more with this connection, so I am creating this blog page. We thought about skyping, but the time zones just weren't helpful to us. I hope that students can ask questions about where they live, the schools they go to and things they like to do. Have fun getting to know one another!
